The Walsall branch, which opened in May, is currently one of only five Ramada Encores in the world. Twenty-five staff serve the needs of the travellers staying in the shiny new hotel’s 121 rooms. “We chose Walsall because of its convenient location and easy access to transport links,” explains manager Sunny Sanger. “This is an up-and-coming region, undergoing an active programme of regeneration, and we wanted to add something very positive to that mix.”
