Please note that has been some recent changes to the structure of the above Partnership and Walsall Council’s Town and District Centre Team is now supporting and managing the partnership’s activities.  This includes co-ordinating the Retail Radio Link Scheme and providing business support to existing members.

 

The team is already working on a number of initiatives including:-

 

·         Online survey: to get an overview of the public perception of the Town Centre.  These results with be shared with members and used as a tool to improve the retail and business offer through inward investment activity and will help shape activities set out in a future business plan

·         Town Centre Guide and Map: to be produced to accelerate Christmas shopping spending

·         1-2-1 business audits: whilst time resourceful the team believe it is important to visit each business to gain a better understanding of the needs and concerns of our town centre businesses

·         Business Forum: we are currently working on a new structure which will aim to meet the needs and aspirations of our businesses and will review the charging structure of the new forum to ensure transparency of fees and services and ensure that businesses are provided with a service that is value for money
