As you will know, each of the Partnership members are separate organisations.
They provide different services, they are regulated in different ways and they
each have their own internal ways of working. On the other hand, they are all
committed to enhancing the quality and efficiency of their work, they all want
to encourage local organisations to bid for contracts and they all seek to develop
the social and economic life of Walsall.
You will find many different processes and procedures in place when you start
to bid for contracts. You may find that some organizations conduct electronic
tendering activities where others may request hard copy written format. Some may
want you to register and be approved as a supplier before you submit a bid. And
there are a range of different tendering requirements depending on the size of
the contracts.
Rather than outline all the differences you will meet It is recommended that
you visit each partner organisation’s specific website to review applicable policies
and procedures regarding procurement-related activities (e.g. tendering). Their
