Green Biodiesel Limited is based in Walsall and is a major producer of an alternative form of fuel called Biodiesel.

 

The Green Biodiesel is made by converting commercial vegetable oil waste into Biodiesel (a diesel fuel substitute) which provides a cheaper, environmentally friendly alternative to conventional fossil petrol and diesel.

 

Green BioDiesel plays an important part in improving Walsall’s environment and offers customers the opportunity to make a direct contribution towards reducing global warming. The fuel is also the only alternative fuel available that can run on a conventional, unmodified diesel engine.

 

The UK government and European Commission are working in partnership with companies like Green Biodiesel to replace five per cent of the UK’s marine diesel usage with biofuels by 2010.
