Bloxwich, Leamore & Blakenall Business Partnership works alongside Walsall
Council's District Centre Management Team and local businesses, community groups
and public sector organisations with the common aim of improving the prosperity
and vitality of Bloxwich town centre and Leamore and Blakenall shopping precincts.
The partnership is active in five key areas:
- Partnership Development and Business Support: developing the partnership to enable it to deliver and support a range of projects to improve the vitality, viability and vibrancy of Bloxwich.
- Environment: establishing and maintaining a high quality, attractive environment for all who shop, work, visit or live in the area.
- Security: establishing a safe and secure town environment for shoppers as well as business and property owners.
- Events and Marketing: promoting the town centre and shopping precincts to shoppers, visitors and potential investors and developing a positive image.
- Regeneration: improving the business mix and regeneration within the Bloxwich area by encouraging new development and investment.
Becoming a member
Membership is open to anyone who supports the aims and objectives of the partnership, in particular businesses in the town centre, landlords and local community organisations. Representatives of Walsall Council, West Midlands Police and West Midlands Fire Service are also actively engaged with the partnership.

2010 Priorities
Bloxwich, Leamore & Blakenall Business Partnership is engaged in a number of high profile projects this year:
- Red Route Package: Some road works on the red route have already started. The red route will run along Bloxwich town centre, and Leamore. The emphasis will be on the A34 with the aim to ease congestion along this route, create new parking, and new designated loading bays for the businesses. The main roadwork is due to commence in the summer 2010.
- Annual Events Programme: The partnership is creating an annual events calendar working with all the organisations who stage special events throughout the year. The events include Leamore & Blakenall Funday, Let's Celebrate Bloxwich, Bloxwich Carnival and Christmas Festivities, all aimed at increasing awareness, footfall and spend in the town centre.
- Bloxwich, Leamore & Blakenall Shopping Guide: the first Bloxwich Shopping Guide being produced in July will be distributed to 10 000 local homes and highlights the excellent range of shops and services available within Bloxwich.
